The Keys to Social Media Success: Ethics and Advocacy
Social media platforms are remarkable tools for our internal and external communication strategies.  The use of social media must be integrated in accordance with the ethics and advocacy standards upheld by non-profits and businesses.   As we use social networking sites to advocate for our businesses and build our brands, we must adhere to a consensus of ethical practices and advocacy standards. 
 
Social media, blogs and other digital information present new and often unfamiliar situations for PR practitioners, but ethical and advocacy principles don't depend on technology.  Learn how local businesses have taken advantage of social media tools by promoting ethical and advocacy principles.
