The Vista Award is awarded annually for outstanding use of Public Relations in support of the citizens of the Pikes Peak Chapter service area, where the recipient does not serve professionally in the field of Public Relations. The recipient will receive an engraved award and will be featured in the Pikes Peak Chapter’s website and social media channels.

NOMINATION CRITERIA
- Nominee must not serve professionally in the field of Public Relations
- Nominee’s achievements must have significantly served the best interests of citizens in the Pikes Peak Chapter service area
- Nominee’s effective Public Relations practices must have played a major part in these professional achievements
- Recipient may receive this award only once during his/her lifetime
NOMINATION PROCESS
- Any Pikes Peak Chapter member in good standing may make a nomination
- The nomination must be made by:
- Completing the form on the second page of this document
- Writing a rationale that does not exceed three typewritten pages
- Including a biography of the nominee (750 words maximum)
- Providing support materials such as newspaper/magazine articles, letters of support, etc. (Optional)
- No member may nominate his or her employer, a client or anyone associated with him/her in the practice of Public Relations
- The nomination must be submitted to the Chapter Awards Chair.
- Award selection will be made by a committee consisting of all available Pikes Peak Chapter Past Presidents who are still members of the Pike Peak Chapter; final approval is by majority vote of the Pike Peak Chapter Board of Directors
- The recipient must receive a favorable vote of two-thirds of the voting Past Presidents
- If no nominees meet the nomination criteria, the award will not be presented
